10:30 am - Just an update... without an update, of course.
So, here we are again. September.
I've since started the last year in my formal training as an Illustrator/ Character Designer... and therefore, I've waved goodbye to the concept of free time. Because this is it. 8 more months, and I'm out in the real world.
Scary.
But anyway. Just a few notes in regards to the sims-related stuff:
- I have the pictures for the next update of the Evurharts. Hopefully I'll get a moment sooner or later to get them up.
- After that, I've been bitten by the storytelling bug again, and we'll move onto an episode or two of a special sidestory involving the spares, and something I alluded to in the beginning of the last update. =3
- As for the Ashfords and the yet-to-be-seen Galliants, they're still in the back of my mind somewhere. In the process of organizing/ editing pictures for them, I've discovered that I really had no true focus for them back when I began them... and that's reflected in the random point-and-click style of picture-taking I had going. It's disorganized... and really difficult to pull a story out of.
So, I'm going to restart. Thankfully I only have the prologue up for the Ashfords, so it's easy enough to change my mind now.
- There's honestly a bigger reason as to why I've decided to do this. Over the course of the summer months, I ended up learning a lot more about how the game works, and realized that I've done, without realizing it at the time, some 'Very Bad Things' that threaten the stability of my neighbourhoods... and I'm beginning to see the results.
Therefore it's time to start over, before I lose everything. Have been considering ditching everything Maxis-made and simply going with the Megahood I've heard rumors about. The one thing is that recreating everything is going to take a while... added to the whole fact that I have to go through two computers in order to do it, since there has yet to be a functioning SimPE-like alternative for macs.
Should be fun... =_= And hopefully worth it in the end.
- Lastly, the server space I've been borrowing to host my pictures I'm pretty sure expires at the end of this month. Hopefully I should be able to acquire my own server soon enough and get things swtiched over, but if things suddenly disappear one day, that'll be the reason why.

12:50 am - Still alive, really...
Sorry to anyone who may actually be waiting on me for an update. April brought an insane amount of schoolwork, of course.
After that, I've been distracted with other things, work, spring courses, as well as getting caught up in playing the Evurharts again to actually finish writing the next chapter.
I have the pictures all ready to go for at least the next two updates... they just need the words to go with.
Soon, I hope.

Inspired by a thread over on a Facebook group I belong to, I've decided to but words to Sims.
Well, of course, I've elaborated on what was posted... but the story is still the same.
But anyway, let's give this a shot now, shall we?

10:16 pm - Okay, so I lied...
So, sometime during the summer, I lost my PC to a motherboard failure... after installing another stick of RAM so that my computer no longer choked when I tried to play my lovely Evurharts. I have my photos up to the end of the Gen 2 heir's college years and a little bit afterwards, on my Mac'top, but nothing's organized.
That and, well, after I got Sims to for the Mac'top in August, I just started another legacy. >>'And a few months later... yet another one.
Maybe one day I'll get around to actually writing something; I'm currently sorting and editing the photos for the Gen 1.0 for both the Galliants and the Ashfords, so hopefully 'one day' will be sooner than later.
For now... simply enjoy a picture of all three of my founders together. =3

Well, here we are.
I knew this summer I was going to do something creative, be it a webcomic, or this~ finally getting an time-intensive hobby of mine down onto paper, so to speak.
Both options involved developing and working a storyline... but this one I need only act as the director, and not the illustrator. :P
Anyway, welcome to my Legacy. Well, not my Legacy, exactly... but close enough.
This'll be a story completely constructed using The Sims 2.
As to not kill my computer, I only have three of five expansions at the moment: Nightlife, University, and Pets.
I have no particular interest in Open For Business, but I am looking into getting Seasons as soon as I can afford to upgrade my poor PC with more memory and a better video card. GeForce7900, here I come. ;) No Stuff packs either, at the moment. Custom content, but no extra Maxis-made objects.
If anyone wants to make suggestions for packs or CC, by all means, comment away.
My game runs with the InTeenimater installed. For story purposes, I may use its features from time to time, so if anyone has issues with sexually active teens, or even teen pregnancy, tread with caution.
I am following the basic Legacy Challenge, as but forth here:

But since I'm in it more for the story that racking up points, I may bend the rules every once and a while. :)
Having InTeen may already be an outright violation, so... oh well. It still makes for some interesting situations. The basic Challenge structure will still be there.
Hm, what else to say?
Ah, yes. I'll try and update the story at least once a week, or at least as fast as my playing time allows me. They'll probably come more often for the first little while, seeing as though I've let the pictures accrue with no true story behind them for perhaps a little too long -I'm in my first heir's final year of college at the moment. XD Oops.
Other than that, I suppose all I can say is... enjoy!
As soon as I start getting pieces up, that is.
